In this spirit, it is important that you have regular, comprehensive dental and periodontal (gum) exams, which, in addition to decay detection, include an oral cancer screening, gum tissue examination, and evaluation of your biting force and the function of your jaw. The information that we discover during these exams helps us to put together a complete diagnosis as well as a comprehensive treatment plan for you.

During this time, we will explain our recommendations for your individualized treatment. The consultation can take place at your initial appointment, or it can be scheduled as a separate appointment at your dentist’s request.
