Dr. Brett Bergseid (pronounced Burg-side) has deep roots in his hometown of Boulder, where both he and his Dad were student athletes at Boulder High School: Dr. Bergseid competed in cross county and his Dad in wrestling. In fact, Dr. Bergseid’s first job was maintaining Boulder’s famous trail system as a junior ranger. Dr. Bergseid earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and his dental degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. As part of his extensive training, he also completed a general practice residency at the Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital in Loma Linda, Calif., where he delivered elevated patient care and performed advanced treatments in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, dental implants, and trauma surgery. When not in the office, Dr. Bergseid devotes a portion of his time to provide dental care to the rural (and breathtaking) mountain town of Lake City, Colo., through its health district. He also makes time for an array of hobbies and interests, including, of course, outdoor recreation (trail running, biking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, and snowboarding), plus cross-country skiing, which he picked up during his time in the Minnesota flatlands during dental school. In addition to guitar and drums, he also recently learned to play the mandolin. Dr. Bergseid is an avid reader as well, with an interest in history and fantasy books. He’s thrilled to live in the beautiful Boulder community with his fiancé and their wonder-pup, Louie. Dr. Bergseid is here to offer compassion, kindness, and exceptional care to his patients. He looks forward to welcoming you to his Boulder dental office!
