Dr. Mathias McAfee grew up in Northern California, where his proximity to both Silicon Valley and his family’s farm taught him some of life’s most valuable lessons. From a young age, Dr. Mathias embraced the importance of technology and innovation. At the same time, his summers spent tilling fields on a tractor and selling raw milk at the farmer’s market showcased his love and respect for his family’s agricultural roots. These experiences instilled in him core values including hard work, compassion, determination, patience, and communication, which are reflected in his dedication to providing compassionate and exceptional care to his patients. They were able to get me in for an appointment quickly, were very friendly, didn’t go crazy with upselling services like I’ve experienced at some other dentists, were willing to postpone xrays due to my own personal needs, and were gentle on my teeth. I highly recommend this place. I hadn’t been to the dentist since 2013 and was nervous about this appointment for a variety of reasons. Not only did I receive high quality care from extremely professional people, but everyone was incredibly calm, kind, and thoughtful. Judy at the front desk is especially talented at clearly communicating in a genuine, incredibly nice way. I laid back looking at the flatirons while they took care of my oral health and left feeling well cared for and calm. Parking Directions
Alpine Dental Health in Central Boulder is conveniently located on the southwest corner of Canyon Blvd. and 28th St. The best way to get here is to head east on Canyon towards 28th and turn right into the parking lot just before 28th (World Market shopping plaza). Ample parking is available in the building’s private lot. To enter, look for double glass doors on the north side of the building next to the parking garage entrance. The doors are hidden by a tree. We are located on the second floor accessible by elevator or stairs.
